Our cornerstone educational and networking event is the annual National
Education Conference (NEC), a one-stop source to fulfill continuing-education
requirements, develop your business and network with other successful
independent financial advisors. This annual symposium offers the opportunity
to sharpen your business insight in a variety of areas, including sales
and marketing, technology, operations, financial planning, business management
and development, investment products, and compliance and regulatory procedures.
This is accomplished through an extensive conference curriculum taught
by industry and subject-matter experts. Conference curriculum is selected
for financial professionals to keep pace with industry trends, policy
changes and new products. Attend workshops, meet home office staff and
sponsors, renew friendships and establish new relationships … The
NEC offers something for everyone.
Financial Planning Fast Track (FPFT) is an accelerated educational program,
offered in conjunction with the Metropolitan State College of Denver,
that prepares you to take the examination for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER™ designation in just six short months. FPFT curriculum addresses
the six financial planning subject areas that satisfy the education component
of the CFP® process. Completing FPFT alone doesn't grant you the CFP
designation. It does, however, satisfy the education component of the
CFP process and thoroughly prepares you for the CFP exam. Once you have
successfully satisfied all of the requirements, you may become licensed
by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
We have developed the Business Development Academy series to help you
stay current with industry issues and trends affecting your bottom line.
These comprehensive, intensive academies feature topical subject matter
taught by respected leaders in the financial services industry. Business
Development Academies are intended to help you think proactively and creatively
about capturing market share and developing your business. You’ll
learn how to devise a plan on a specific aspect of your business and how
to put that plan into action. Some academies provide continuing education
credit.
